The guys do the best they can but this store lacks the energy of others close by.
I've been to many gamestops and even worked at a few as well. Aside from the ones where I worked and knew the employees well, this GameStop has excellent customer service. I wasn't berated with "do you want our pro card, what about this?! And that?!" The man I had service from was incredibly nice and relatable. We chatted for a bit in the empty store while I checked out, it was a nice change of pace for normally busy gamestops.
Really knowledgeable staff who are willing to explain without being pushy.
When we went to trade in a Wii a few years old, they would only give us $3 because, and I quote : "There's a lot of stuff missing." Really? And we had a game we didn't want that was still brand new in plastic. They said "We and can't take a new game." Wow!... And we have them around 20 games and we got $9.86 back. This is the worst experience I've ever had while trading some stuff in. I will most likely return to this GameStop once or twice ever again.
The staff at the Roanoke GameStop are always very friendly and helpful. There's a good selection of games and other character products. This is our favorite GameStop.
