The Public Storage buyout of Advantage Storage in Roanoke is a failure. Public Storage is understaffed with disgruntled employees and the corporate customer service is nonexistent. We are moving out because it took 4 trips to create an account with the new owner, it's still not correct and we were treated rudely in the process. Stay away from this facility!
I've called 5 times wanting to speak with a live person and I keep getting disconnected. Very unprofessional and not customer friendly!! Please fix your phones!! ☹
Do not go to this public storage!!!! We were told incorrect information when we moved in. They upped the rent on us. And when we moved out on the 12th I wanted to keep the unit until the 30th and scheduled move out for the 30th and they marked the unit as vacated on the 15th thus literally taking my already paid for unit from me to sell to someone else.
